The Synod Turns 5 Years Old

Today, November 1, 2024, marks the 5th anniversary of the Synod of Evangelical Churches of the Augsburg Confession!

We remember all those who took part in the creation of the Synod. Sadly, some of them are no longer with us, such as our first Chairman, Vladimir Pudov. Yet, in our prayers, they continue to be invisibly present at all our Masses, participating in our life and the growth of the Synod. And we know they are already with God, in the best place of all.

As we celebrate this date together, we must remember that the ECAW Synod was founded to bring Faith to people without formalities and divisions. We believe that the Lutheran Church places Faith, Scripture, and Grace above all else.
