Extension of Authority

According to Clause 4.4 of the Synod Regulations, the Chairperson of the Synod is elected for a term of one year, with the possibility of re-election. In 2023, no re-election was held, as all members of the Synod agreed to extend the current term.

In 2024, no one expressed opposition to electing a new Chairperson, and therefore the authority is automatically extended until December 2025.

The Synod’s Development Program for 2025 will be prepared and published on the website in the coming days.
