Development Program 2025

In the upcoming year 2025, the Synod plans to implement the following reforms.

Membership in the Synod will be open to parishioners, small congregations, and even non-Lutheran churches that plan to undergo the process of conversion to Lutheranism. Formally, they will be affiliated with the Synod congregation that is geographically closest to them.

Seminary education will be available to all interested individuals without exception and without any requirements regarding religious affiliation.

A short-term program will be introduced based on existing higher education. This will allow candidates with prior theological education to obtain a Bachelor of Theology degree within six months, and all others to complete it within one year.

A professional retraining course will be offered, with a state-recognized diploma awarded in cooperation with a Russian educational institution.

A Synod Missionary Center will be established in the Philippines, where anyone interested will be able to come and contribute to its development.
